Birthday lunch in the sun…

There’s no recipe post this weekend from Mod Fam Food as it’s Amanda’s birthday so we thought we’d give her the weekend off. We did, however, recruit her mod fam to put together an amazing lunch made from a bunch of recipes she has posted on the blog.

We started the celebrations out in the garden with a spot of Dom Perignon, whilst the cooking team got sorted in the kitchen…

We gave them a five-minute break so Amanda could open some pressies…

Then we were all starving so sat down to a feast of salmon, spring asparagus salad, cucumber salad, and seasonal veg.

Of course, we had cake… but this time the team had opted not to get their inner bake on, and instead picked up an awesome cake from lovely Patisserie Valerie.

After filling up on all the delicious food, we regrouped in the garden where the kids took a few team selfies and the adults enjoyed another glass or two of vino.
