Boden SS15 … what’s the scoop?

Whilst I was living in New York, I used to get the Boden catalogue delivered and would often while away a sub-zero winter morn, with 5 feet of snow outside, pouring over the beautiful British spring and summer scenes depicted in the Boden universe. Fast forward to this month, on a wet dreary London day, and that whole Boden-brings-me-sunshine thing jumped right back into my life when I popped into the Boden SS15 showcase.

With a distinctly floral vibe from the get-go, next spring Boden are predicting blooms in a big way.

As usual, the whole set was inspirational, let alone the clothes and accessories… it got me thinking I could be way more creative with my indoor planting in the future – this book/flowerpot number was genius!

I actually had quite a crush on the shoes – I genuinely like the fit of Boden shoes. I’ve got slightly wider feet since having kids, and they seem to have clocked the fact that us mums still like to pretty up our tootsies even if the rest of us is slathered in ketchup or mud. Accommodating ladies with larger trotters like myself, is definitely one of the reasons I buy from the Boden range. This season I’ve already fallen for their bejewelled pointy flats (but then I think the rest of the country has too…)

Statement shirts and blouses are big this season and next – I liked their floral inspired ones for SS15.

Even the kids section was busting out the blooms – makes me quite sad that my little people are not that little anymore – clearly I need to focus on Godchildren as my next objects for fash-obsession fulfillment.
