Those crazy dudes over at Fyodor Golan opened up their show with a technological precursor, which was a model wearing a skirt made of Nokia Lumia smartphones. Not particularly practical, but it got the audience buzzing in the warehouse in London’s trendy Clerkenwell district.
We moved on into the show space, which had an awesome pink astro turf runway… this gives you a kind of hint at the colour palette for the collection. Inspired by their recent holiday to Burma the design duo attacked the colour wheel with techno textured gusto. Using multi layered looks they showcased their talent for edgy urban wear which had you remembering why you loved the kookiness of the London Fashion Week shows.
I’m not sure I’ll be wearing these looks. but I loved the vibrant colours.. especially the fearless lips!
