It’s tricky to find a label these days which offers both edgy yet wearable styles, and still manages to be wallet friendly. Yes, Alexander Wang and Rag & Bone are all lustworthy enough, but when it gets to the end of January, even a spendthrift like me is reigning in the online shopping.
What a relief then to see a new label on the horizon for spring which promises a relaxed sporty vibe coupled with luxe fabrics that certainly has my fashion antenna all of a quiver. The label is the brainchild of designers Viktoria Pavelka and Jenny Araskog-Gent, who have put their classic minimal Scandi spin on the collection, with pieces that promise to last more than a season or two.
So it’s time for a quick game of Love, Like, Adore with new label Lily Black.
Love: These silk/jersey sweat trousers – surely I need them for my long haul flight to New York fashion week in Feb?

Like: The ethereal whispiness of this rust full length skirt – I’m thinking sparkly flip flops and bikini top at Nikki beach, St Tropez this summer.

Adore: The 50’s vibe of these cream and navy high waisted shorts. I’m pairing mine with silver Supergas and a white oversize tee and heading to the Hamptons.
