Metallic heels … stack of 6

Metallic heels … the party season must-have

I don’t care whether you are one of those types who has a party clocked into your diary every night, or someone who likes to stay in and watch Christmas movies this Holiday season, the simple fact of the matter is that a gal needs metallic heels in her armoury whatever her plans.

Metallic heels have long since overtaken the white stiletto in the ‘party’ footwear game, but when it comes to Christmas, they kind of take on this reverential feel. They are the perfect storm in terms of uptown dressing meets chav-with-a-heart-of-gold. They scream slapper but whisper luxe. In order to rock the metallic heel the right side of ‘on-trend’ check out my hit list below.

Metallic Heels

1. Kurt Geiger pumps

2. Alejandro Ingelmo cut out bootie

3. Gianvito Rossi ankle strap pump

4. J.Crew strappy mirror metallic pumps

5. Diane Von Furstenberg Bethany pumps

6. Lucy Choi London Aster beige glitter shoe

Metallic heels… how to wear them

If you’re in the metallic heels zone, it means you are in the party pumps zone. They go well with a cocktail dress at a black tie affair, but equally cut the mustard when paired with jeans and a silk top if you are just heading out for a vino at the local.

I’ve been wearing my metallic heels with rolled up boyfriend jeans and a slouchy statement sweater to head out for a casual supper with mates, but also have them all set to go with my tuxedo for a party on New Year’s eve.

They are a totally versatile buy, so with the sales on and all, you might find that this is the perfect opportunity to jump on the blingy heel band wagon for the season.
