It’s mid-summer here in the Big Apple, but just as you think you’ve got one sartorial season pegged, that furious fashion wheel keeps a turning and it’s time to think about Resort 2012. Yup, no time to lavish in this season’s brights, forget the LW (Crochet)D, it’s time to march on.
One of my favorite labels, 3.1 Phillip Lim (mostly due to it’s affordability and sassy street style), has got me going all #manrepeller-ish with his offerings though. I’m loving his neutrals, his orange pops of color and his relaxed downtown vibe, but can’t quite get my head around his pants….
I’m wondering if these mustard pants come with built in stilts …
I get that us girls like to show off our shoes but not with an uber wide leg pant…
Unsure of the benefit of this look unless it’s a sack cloth and ashes kind of vibe you’re opting for…
That said, I’m curiously transfixed by the sparkly harems and like any self proclaimed shopaholic will certainly be giving Mr Lim’s collection further investigation over the next few months.
