Sunday best…
I’ve had a little time off this Christmas and managed to catch up with friends and family, whilst also packing in a trip to Paris and the South of France for a birthday party with some great friends. During all this hoopla, I’ve been doing my daily surf of the blogs I love to read to gain insipration for the start of 2014, so here are a few for you to take a dip into when you have a spare 5 mins.
I only just discovered this blog by Wendy H. Gilmour in December, partly thanks to the fab Fashion Indie sight, and partly thanks to my new obsession with textile gurus Bluebellgray who I chatted to at the Liberty press day last spring. Wendy works on the team for her day job, but she seems to spend a remarkable amount of time baring her fab legs in her fearless passion for fashion – good on yah gal!
Next up is the lovely Karen Blanchard, with her awesome personal style blog Where Did U Get That. Karen is a London gal living in New York, and is making the most of her love of fashion finds by turning it into a successful blogging career. You can ask her just about anything about an item and she can throw at least five places back at you, about where to get that piece cheaper or quicker. Over lunch in The Crosby Street Hotel last time I was in New York, she gave me some top tips on Nikon lenses too – there’s not much she can’t turn her skills to, and she takes some beautiful images to boot.
New York based stylist and creative director Kelly Framel has an inspirational blog full of outfit ideas, home decor images, beauty and fashion looks which will have you drooling. She has worked with some power house designers over the years, but the collaborations I love the best are the Cinemagraphs she has helped create…. check this out…
