Winchester Shopping Guide.

I’d been meaning to head to Winchester for ages to check out the shopping as I’d heard some wonderful things about it. So when I realised that lovely Donna from Sulky Doll Styling was a local resident, I hot-footed it down there to purloin her wealth of styling knowledge about THE best spots to shop for this Winchester Shopping Guide.

We started our tour at the glorious Catkin and Pussy Willow flower store at Winchester station. This spot is Instagram heaven, chock full of all things floral to tickle your fancy and also a succulent or two for good gramming measure.

From there we headed to 39 Jewry Street to scope out the coolest retro vintage furniture store The Consortium. With multiple floors stocked with must-have lifestyle pieces, it’s difficult not to get lost in this gem of a store. The higher you go, the more there is to see, until you reach the lovely Mint Tea Boutique at the top – a beautifully curated collection of lifestyle goodies with some lovely clothing pieces too.

From there we moved on to Maxims Boutique at 30 St Thomas Street, one of Donna’s go-to places when she’s styling up local clients.

Double back to the High Street, and you can find a gorgeous Space NK which offers oodles of beauty treats and skincare products perfect for those beauty junkies amongst us.

We then popped into Coffee Lab at 6 St Thomas Street for a quick re-fuel… Donna prefers this smaller incarnation, there’s a larger store just around the corner, but this was the perfect spot to grab a great coffee on the run.

We then headed to Pavillion Fashion – 23 The Square, where you can find all sorts of on-trend labels including some fab Skandi brands and a great denim edit.

By this time we had an attack of the hunger pangs kicking in, so headed to The Dispensary Kitchen – 5 The Square, where of course it was all about the avo on toast for us blogger gals, but there are also delicious cakes and pastry treats to be had.

Suitably satiated we took a quick spin around the Cathedral grounds to work off some of those calories and tick the *tourist box…

Before a quick peek in The Hambledon and then onwards to our final destination boutique Sass and Edge at 1A Southgate Street.

This gorgeous new boutique has a great edit of key pieces and also ( according to Donna) has the best skinny mirror in town for trying on clothes… head upstairs to benefit from its magical properties.

And as ever, huge thanks to the very talented Cicely Creswell for another stunning map illustration.

For anyone after a bargain this weekend, there are some early bird Black Friday sales codes on my earlier post this week about Black Friday sales shopping tips.
