3 ways to rock a pleated skirt.

The pleated skirt is having a bit of a moment. There’s something about it which allows it to segue quite safely between all occasions. On Friday I went to a cocktail event and sported a metallic Zara pleated number with an oversized Acne knit, which got me to thinking…perhaps these little cuties can become a real wardrobe worker. From office to evening and even right on through to the weekend, if you pair your skirt with the right pieces there’s no reason why you can’t get a pile of uses out of it.

Having confessed to not being much of a skirt wearer… (see my earlier post here) I seem to have turned to the dark side. This H&M pleated skirt had so much zing to it I couldn’t resist. I paired it with an oversized roll neck from Iris & Ink (similar here), Manolo kitten heels (similar Jimmy Choo ones here), and a cute Tonda box clutch from DVF.
