Having lived in New York for the last fives years, this November being back in London means I’m missing out.
Not only have I missed the chance to gorge myself stupid on turkey and stuffing whilst ogling the Macy’s parade on Thanksgiving. But I’ve also missed the great American tradition of the sales on Black Friday, followed cloesly by Cyber Monday – which frankly I’m more in favor of as you don’t have to leave the comfort of your sofa to score big on a bargain.
When you add to my dilemma the problem that not all USA online stores are willing to ship to Blighty, and my Stateside buddies are running out of patience with my shopaholic binges which require them to post on parcels I’ve ordered.
