For a statement shoe that will put the rest of your outfit, and anyone else’s for that matter, in the shade, it’s time to turn your attention to Rupert Sanderson’s Fall 13 collection. Although Sanderson has been wowing us with his quirky take on the humble heel for the last few seasons, this time around he’s hit the ball out of the park.

His London showroom was fairly buzzing with eager editors clawing at his new creations on his recent press day, and quite frankly I was right behind them grappling for a peek at next season’s offerings.

There was a stunning fresh daffodil installation at the event. When I asked why? The answer is that each shoe is named after a daffodil, (of which I’m told by the experts, there are literally thousands.) So luckily for us Mr Sanderson has a fair way to go before he runs out of inspiration.
