I’m in The Hamptons this week and have thought long and hard about the savvy packing required to survive all manner of social situations headed my way.
If like me you’ve always found it tricky to segue from the beach, with all that scratchy sand and sticky sea salted skin, through to looking miss uber chic for the all important cocktail hour, then it’s time to master the playsuit for the perfect day to evening beach pick.
The beauty of the playsuit (the younger relation to the more grown up jumpsuit due to it’s lack of length in the trouser leg department), is that it has enough tomboy charm to ensure even the most active beach babe manages to keep her cool on the boardwalk.
Pair with a pop of seasonal colour and your favourite denim jacket to nail the look.
