ASOS Wednesday Wish List

ASOS spring offerings

I popped into the ASOS Spring 14 press day recently, and was blown away by the number of on trend pieces they have lined up for next season. It was all about sheer layers, embellishments and appliqué in pastels and brights, mixed up with floral prints to die for. I used to think of ASOS as the best site to head to for those ‘get the look’ items for some expensive designer piece I couldn’t quite afford. But having seen their new collection in the flesh, I’m definitely converted to making them my first port of call next season.

ASOS

ASOS has come a long way since it’s fledgling start as a site which provided 20-somethings with a destination to grab a look their favourite celeb might be wearing in some glossy mag. These days they boast a mix of their own-label, global and local brands, whilst still staying true to their original game plan of offering edgy and hip fast-fashion to their leagues of loyal fans.

I’m always keen to check out the details on any collection, but with ASOS it was literally like a kid in a candy store. Everywhere you looked there was something more delicious than the last thing you had just drooled over.
