Astley Clarke Mother’s Day gifting inspo

I don’t know about you but around this time of year when Mother’s Day is just around the corner, I’m so busy trying to figure out what to get for my dear old ma that I forget my kids are also looking for some Mother’s Day inspo for a gift for me. So this time around, having seen the gorgeous Astley Clarke Kula bracelets at a recent bloggers breakfast event, I figured these would be the perfect pieces for meaningful gifting.

The Astley Clarke Kula bracelets are a glam take on the friendship bracelet. Think luxe gemstone beads, iconic talisman charms and a rainbow of colours to choose from. Each one has a different meaning and are a wonderful way of expressing your sentiments for any occasion. With a great price point, my kids were excited with the notion of pooling their pocket money (with a little help from the bank of dad) and picking a bracelet each to gift me a stack of these cuties for Mother’s Day.

We had fun sifting through each colour and style. The charms all have a significance of their own, so I was curious to see which specific ones my kids would fall for. I loved the lotus, wishbone and heart which each symbolises peace, hope and love. Whilst the kids gravitated towards the four leaf clover for luck, the star for revival (am seriously hoping they aren’t alluding to the fact that I might possibly need reviving…), and the cosmos for infinity. Then there are the hamsa and evil eye which both represent protection and would be equally perfect for a Mother’s Day gift. In fact, there are so many to choose from it begins to get tricky!

I can never decide whether I’m in the gold or silver camp when it comes to jewellery, but I’m definitely one of those dangly-round-your-wrist bracelet wearers, so was happy to note that the adjustable nugget fastening on these babies allows for a snug or loose fit depending on your preference.
