Baukjen Sweater – perfect AW14 woolly pully.
As if I haven’t been banging on enough about knitwear this week, hot on the heels of yesterday’s post about roll neck sweaters, today I’m all about the Baukjen sweater for AW14. Sort of a cross between a roll neck and a funnel neck – but seriously great shape and nicely oversized to boot.

I first spotted this little beauty when I took a peek behind the scenes of the Baukjen empire in London the other week. I got to see an up close and personal edit of the AW14 collection which is online right now. Apart from the delicious leather pieces they have for this season, my knitwear obsessive eye was drawn to a number of sweaters which would be a bonus to anyones wardrobe.
The thing I really like about this Baukjen Nielsten sweater is the way you can snuggle your chin into the vast funnel neck and pretend you don’t have all those double chins which are creeping up on you… or at least me anyway…
I’m mostly a jeans and sweater gal when I’m off duty – especially if there’s school runs, dog walks and chores to be done. So when I wore my Baukjen sweater this week it was all about simple add ons. I went with J.Brand coated jeans – on sale at The Outnet right now, and threw on a super sumptuous oversized scarf from The White Company ( top trend for this season BTW).
I added this Swarovski slake bracelet which one of my oldest buddies gave me for my birthday this year, along with an Alexis Bittar bling ring from way back.
I found this cute Timex watch in J.Crew the other day…
I love these Toga Pulla boots, whilst I got the Joseph zebra print tote in the sales, but there’s a similar one here by Tamara Mellon.
