Beach Birthday…
Last week I celebrated my birthday with some of my gal pals on the beach at West Wittering. This little spot is one of my fave beach spots in the UK – it reminds me of The Hamptons back across the pond, so it was definitely the perfect place to set up camp and picnic in style.
After enlisting a few willing sherpas to aid delivery of our delicious lunch, put together by my buddy the lovely Sam Howley (who has the most amazing personal chef business – check it out here), it was time to work our way through the fizz & food.
Sam talks us through the delights on offer…
It was so much fun to spend time with my buddies – not everyone could make it, but I was so pleased to see one of my old New York muckers Alex (left), who won the prize for furthest travelled, as she’d just jetted in that morning from Hong Kong, and still managed to keep up with us on the fizz consumption front… you can take the girl out of Hong Kong….
Alex works my Heidi Klein fedora with style (above)… but wasn’t the only one sporting natty headgear.
After some birthday treats and pud… which even Cookie popped her nose out of her shady nook for (below)
It was time for pressies… yay!
I was utterly spoilt with a fab Mawi London clutch (similar here), a gorgeous bracelet & statement ring. My attire for the day? Shirt & shorts are J.Crew, vintage belt, The Row sunnies and fedora Eric Javits.

Then it was time to relax and enjoy the beach, and stick our toes in the water…
Thanks gals for an awesome day… XXX
