Blue hues new season decor to love.

I’ve had my eye out for some new season decor updates since the kids have been off school. This spring our dining room had an update, and I went all rose gold and pink… gotta love a follower of trends right! But with my hallway needing a bit of a makeover, it was time to think about injecting a burst of colour as we’d had the same creamy/golden thing going on since we’d moved here back in 2005. Step forward my interior design guru buddy Spyros Hambis from Studio Interiors with a wealth of creative interior style ideas and years of knowledge – this guy has been rescuing me from decor dilemmas for years.

Spyros from Studio Interiors works his magic touch in our hallway.

You may have had a peek at our hall in this recent The White Company decor interview… but the space is actually dominated by an amazing watercolour by renowned artist Alexander Creswell. Using this as a base I fell for all sorts of blue hue vibes, and before I knew it saw turquoise in every interior store I came across.

Love the ombre effect of this Designers Guild fabric – it’s called Marquisette
