This is an interesting new collaboration – set to launch May 1st, Calypso St Barth – darling of the celebrity on hols, is launching a limited edition line of summer gear and a smattering of home goods for Target.
Having been a fan of Calypso for some time, it seems a strange bedfellow for uber brand Target.
Calypso is all about aspirational holiday destinations. Buy a few of their pieces and you are lulled into the vacation dreamland that;
a) you shall be whisked off to some glam beach/destination and not just the Jersey Shore,
b) you will conquer the holiday capsule wardrobe nightmare by merely throwing a few of their pieces into a straw tote to last a fortnights hols.
Having said that, I’m a sucker for a bargain, May 1st is duly noted in my iCal.
