It’s Fall fashion preview month and there’s a bunch of designers falling over themselves to show off their collections in London.
For the Joseph presentation they chose to send in an army. Not just any old army but an army of mannequins impeccably dressed in a collection, that I for one, am signing up for.
When I was in New York I craved Joseph – all that office appropriate, paired down minimalism with a European edge. The nearest I could get to it was by stalking Intermix or red flagging anything in Theory. I’m happy to report that since I’ve returned to London, spookily enough Intermix have started selling Joseph, so all my USA pals can enjoy the stuff I love.
For Fall 13 Joseph have the usual smattering of monochromatic looks in leather, shearling and sheer chiffons.
There are delicious knits in bright geometric patterns…
Add to that layering details that only Joseph can make work on a mannequin….
The oversized clutch done right….
And then there’s the fab Joseph detail that keeps me going back for more.
Shearling cuffs….
Lace overlays…
Simple leather belting…
Patchwork furs…
The skinny? I loved everything about this collection. All you need to know is that it hits the stores in August – tune in then.
