Fashionista’s Prêt-à-Portea

I recently popped into The Berkeley in London to join a bunch of gal pals for one of the Fashionista’s Prêt-à-Porteas. I’d heard about this tea whilst I was living in New York and had often hankered after a proper cuppa, alongside a glass of fizz and the most delicious on trend cakes you could ever dream of. If there’s one thing a girl misses when living on the East Coast it’s proper Brit traditions like afternoon tea.

There’s not much to belm on about when reviewing the Fashionista’s Prêt-à-Portea. We arrived early and were ushered to the cocktail bar for a fortifying glass of fizz, then joined our group at the beautifully set out table. I tuned in too late to the lovely waitress, who explained this season’s delicately crafted cakes. I managed to spot a Burberry trench biscuit and a Miu Miu bag, without asking her to repeat herself or looking at the crib sheet, but quite frankly you had me at cake + fizz.

Suffice to say the cakes and savouries were awesome, the fizz flowed and us gals had a great get together – here are some pics to drool over…
