Festival chic … stack of 6

Festival chic … tie-dye decisions.

Festival season is fast approaching and whether you’re in the glamping or keeping it real camp, you still have a series of sartorial choices to make for your big weekend in order to keep festival chic. Of course there’s the super dodgy weather factor to throw into the equation, but if you’re looking for a festival chic piece which can work in all weathers, it’s time to take a peek at tie-dye.

The ancient art of tie-dye has been in and out of the fashion mix for years. This season the lovely folk over at MiH Jeans have partnered with LA artist Niki Livingston who uses the fine art of shibori to create beautiful tie-dye pieces. It’s all about your skill level in the twisting, knotting, stitching and tying of the fabrics when it comes to this ancient Japanese art appaz! But all I know is she creates beautiful modern takes on the good old tie-dye looks.

Here’s a stack of 6 of my current faves out there right now including the MiH Jeans selection…
