Floral skirt … the brights story.
I’m not averse to a bit of colour… as anyone who has been to my house can attest … there’s quite a lot of lime green going on. So when I spotted this Tibi floral skirt last season and paired it with this J.Crew sweater, it seemed to fit just right in my kitchen. Not that I’m advocating purchasing clothing simply to fit in certain room spaces, with my Designers Guild obsession I’d be in all sorts of trouble on the mashing up of sartorial colours front.
Some people find colours a tad intimidating. If that’s you, then why not try out the trend in an accessory or two to ease yourself into it. There are plenty of neon bags around as well as statement jewellery which can drop a nod to the trend without freaking you out.
I paired my Tibi floral skirt with this boyfriend v-neck from J.Crew and Sophie Hulme tote…similar here.
Bracelets are Chan Luu and Sisco & Berluti, necklace from Bauble Bar.
Heels are Jimmy Choo from a few season’s back, but similar (& definitely cheaper) here from The Outnet, or here from Mango and here from Karen Millen.
