Hudson Grace: lifestyle store to lust after.

I’m never averse to a little shopping, and when on vacation I’m often found scoping out new and interesting retail spots which we don’t have back in Blighty. This past week on the West Coast leg of our USA trip we took a quick look around Santa Monica’s trendy Brentwood Country Mart and found a little piece of interior heaven via Hudson Grace a divine luxury lifestyle store with a Californian cool edge.

Hudson Grace was founded back in 2012 in San Francisco by best friends Monelle Totah and Gary McNatton. From their successful design and retail backgrounds, the pair set about sourcing seriously cool yet simple pieces which ooze laid back style and add the perfect finishing touches to your home. The recently opened Brentwood Country Mart location is helmed by longtime friends and interior design gurus Fati Fakoor and Asi Rasson.

The only one of the Hudson Grace stores to offer flowers – the blooms in the Brentwood store were stunning.

A gal can never have enough candles in the home and sometimes it’s the simplicity of an unscented pillar candle which wins the day…

I’m always a fan of colour in the home, so was immediately drawn to these signature linen napkins.

The Hudson Grace stores offer an eclectic mix of items which would work equally well as accents for your own home or as gifts. There really is a great edit of pieces to choose from; my only regret was I didn’t have enough luggage space left to load up on a pile of all these goodies and whisk them back to the UK with me.
