Liberty London homewares for SS13: Bluebellgray

I popped into Liberty London today for their Home Department SS13 press day, which turned out to be a bit of a treasure hunt. Armed with a map and my Nikon I set off to discover what’s in store for us for spring – and the answer is, some delicious pieces.

My first port of call was a chat with the lovely Fi Douglas of Bluebellgray, an exciting textile company who produce the kind of bright and fun pieces that I get instantly besotted with. If there’s a whiff of fuchsia or cobalt blue in a cushion, I’m all over it like a cheap suit…you should see my hoard of Designer’s Guild soft furnishings, anyone would think my home is in fact an outlet store for Ms Guild.

But back to Fi Douglas and her fab new blossom collection for spring. Inspired by Japanese blossom, it oozes fresh zesty colour in her signature watercolour brushstrokes, that would give anyone’s drab interior a Kew Gardens vibe with no effort at all.
