If you’re talking London Fashion Week, it’s not always about the next bright young thing.
London Fashion Week has built it’s rep on showcasing all manner of Brit based talent, so it’s no surprise to see the traditional big hitters like Daks beginning to catch the limelight and steal a few moves on the young guns.
With ‘La Vie En Rose’ pulsing out of the speakers, we saw traditional fabrics, including the Daks signature check, shown in classic elegant styles which had you wondering whether it was time to pack your bags and hopping on the Eurostar to Paris for the weekend. These were definitely looks for grown ups who have a handle on their signature style and require an equal dose of class and comfort out of their closet.
In the newly laid out BFC showspace at Somerset House, it’s not always easy to get the best shots… here’s my homage to the Daks show through the medium of heads…
