McQueens Flower School Festive Fun
Last week I headed to McQueens Flower School with the lovely Kenneth Green Associates to try my hand at building a festive terrarium. I’d attended a few McQueens flower school courses an age ago before moving to New York, so was excited to get creative again with a bit of a seasonal twist.
The school is housed above their gorgeous new Cambridge Heath Road premises in East London… so I skipped up the stairs to meet their creative guru Duncan to learn all about the art of building a terrarium… or peararium as it turned out…
After a demonstration from the professionals, we were let loose on oodles of adorable deccies to create our own diorama.
Of course, we couldn’t sustain such heights of creative dizziness without a little refreshment… check out these gorgeous festive cupcakes by Cake Boy Eric Lanlard...
It was great to meet fellow bloggers Fashion Mumblr Josie, Elle Next Door, Sabrina from A little Obsessed and the lovely Amanda from The Women’s Room Blog. Even though their creations were way more classy than my nordic inspired effort… who says the blogosphere is a competitive place…?
So here’s my best effort…
With thanks to McQueens Flower School and Kenneth Green Associates for the lovely afternoon.
