Mother’s Day gifts for the adventurous.
This Mother’s Day, I’ve teamed up with John Lewis to create a lovely hamper of gifts for my mum as inspiration for Mother’s Day gifting. When thinking classic Mother’s Day gifts, I always picture flowers and chocolates don’t you? While my mum does like the odd floral display, she’s also not one of those types who’s going to sit around and stare at a vase of blooms with a crossword on her lap… although she does love a struggle with a Sudoku now and again.

Forget flowers on Mother’s Day – my mum is more excited by some cashmere athleisure wear and a golfing gadget or two to make her day special. She turns 90 this year and is still more active than me on a good day, so my gifting picks had more of an adventurer in mind.
She also loves to keep a good list and organise her friends, so I’m planning on introducing her to gorgeous stationery brand Kikki.k and hoping that she will love it as much as I do.

When tracking down the perfect gift for my mum, historically my first port of call has always been John Lewis for gift vouchers. When she’s not gadding about the golf course, or driving her friends to various meet ups, she also works in a charity shop, so with all that in mind I took a closer look at the John Lewis Mother’s Day gift edit and actually found some perfect items for her. Take a peek at their selection if you are struggling to find an appropriate gift for your mum.
With thanks to John Lewis for sponsoring this post and to opening my eyes to the gifting possibilities online – watch out Mum – no more gift vouchers for you!
