It’s early September so Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week has spun around once more, and this time around we are oggling at the gorgeous things in store for us next Spring 2014.
With a team of New York correspondents committed to suffer stilletto induced blisters, the possibility of contracting communicable diseases and maybe the odd hangover or two, the Notes from a Stylist team are ready to hit the runway.
As the fun and action kick off, I thought we could start off with one of my favourite NYFW games, Love, Like, Adore.
It’s a simple game where we pluck out our 3 fave looks from a show and nominate a reason for our lust. So first up is yesterdays BCBG Max Azria show.
Love...this easy layering look. The first half of the show was all about the shirt dress with a modern twist. With layering being a key trend for this fall, by the time the spring rolls around we will all be dab hands at throwing light layers together.
Like…. the floral panel contrast on this piece. This dress was more the BCBG Max Azria that we know and love, and floral is always a no-brainer for spring. It definitely had me dreaming of cocktails in the Hamptons next summer.
Adore… the quirky yet relaxed cut of this all white ensemble. It reminds me of a Celine runway piece, but knowing BCBG Max Azria, will not have the hefty price tag to match.
