Notes From a Stylist App now available.
These days I’m far more likely to be surfing the web via my mobile whilst on the go than I was even this time last year. I think it was that cute pair of Sophia Webster heels which popped up on sale whilst I was stuck on the train to Waterloo (which were mine within a few clicks) which swung the whole online thing for me. With that in mind, we recently set about putting an app together for the blog, so people can keep up with our posts without having to be glued to their laptop. So we’re super-excited to announce that our Notes From a Stylist 0n-The-Go App is now available for free download in the iTunes store.
It’s not just the Notes From a Stylist team who are jumping into the app game – there are oodles of other great blogging and shopping apps out there which you can download and hit the road with.
More shopping apps you need now:
Like to Know It: This is the perfect app for making Instagram totally shoppable. All you need to do is sign up with Like to Know.it here then every time you ‘like’ an Instagram from a fashion blogger you are following you get an email in your inbox quick smart, which lets you know where their outfit or items in the image come from – genius right!? Needless to say although we’ve been using it on our Instagram account for a while, we’re slightly addicted to stalking our fellow bloggers on it too.
Grabble: This is a little like Tinder for shop-a-holics. I road tested this one a few weeks back which was fun – read that post here. Essentially this app allows you to surf through a bunch of different items and then ‘grab’ them for your wishlist which you can then shop later. It also lets you know when any of your grabs pop up on sale… warning… this can also become slightly wearing on the purse strings as the desire to shop something on sale is difficult to ditch.
The Hunt: This is for the slightly younger more obsessive stalkers amongst us – this app is more of a ‘seek and ye shall find’ shopping app for the obsessive shopper. If there’s something you’re having trouble tracking down you can post a photo to get the community’s help in finding it. Alternatively, you can help other equally fanatical shoppers by responding to any of the zillions of hunts which are posted on this fun app.
Mallzee: This is much like the Grabble app above – though initially I found the product ranges on this app a little limiting, I think they’ve upped the ante more recently and there’s definitely more in their catalogue to add to your wishlists and more importantly wait for the price to plummet in the sales!
