Notes from a Stylist; Best bits from 2012

Another year is about to come to a close, and it’s fair to say it’s been a biggy for Notes from a Stylist.

For Notes from a Stylist, there was the usual smattering of fashion weeks and fashion events to attend and also pull off, as well as a big relocation back to London from New York.

Amongst all that, family and friends battled and thankfully beat issues like the big C, loss of loved ones, fires, storms and generally all that could be thrown at them. Some of us are certainly ready to say goodbye to 2012.

When the  year started I was advocating the drape trend as a way to hide those wobbly bits, thankfully draping is not only a girls best friend for spring, it’s also cheaper than plastic surgery.

Stateside, apart from Fashion Weeks in New York,  I worked events like the Warren Tricomi style event and a Saks 5th Avenue fashion show which were all a blast.

In London there was a 007 James Bond Skyfall preview with Aston Martin

Along with events like the Miu Miu Spring 13 preview,  the Clothes Show Live bloggers breakfast and the Valentino exhibit at Somerset House

To be fair there was the usual amount of shopping, which brings with it the need for a New Year purge.

So as we wave goodbye to 2012, thanks for following Notes from a Stylist’s exploits, and check back here for news on some exciting projects I’m completing in 2013.
