What’s not to like about a charity fashion show? Not only do you get to schmooze with ladies that lunch, support a great charity – in this instance the Happy Child charity, you also get to see a bunch of great looks from a top store; The Courtyard, which has an enormous collection of carefully curated on trend items, that I for one have been addicted to for longer than I can remember.
To work backstage at such a show, I found out today, is even more fun than swanning in the front.
With an early morning call in a blizzard – seriously – would a little snow ever get in the way of a gal and her fashion fix? (Check my post on Snowmageddon at New York Fashion Week this season...) By midday with all the gorgeous clothing racked and ready to go, models arriving and the great and the good of Surrey networking with champagne and canapes, it was time to rock and roll.
Models prepped their runway walks…
Styling kicked into overdrive…
Accessories were checked and double checked…
There was a five minute window to catch up on texts…oh…and keep hydrated of course…
Then it was time to line up…
And walk the walk…
Congrats to all the models, The Courtyard gang and the Happy Child Charity – a job well done!
All looks available to buy at The Courtyard.
