Off the shoulder looks to love.
We’ve talked about the joys of off the shoulder tops before on the blog. Just last year we were extolling the virtues of this look with a post on which particular one might suit your style. But its status as a micro trend has powered on up to full trend footing, so we thought it was worth a peek at some of the new season offerings out there which will work brilliantly for your summer wardrobe.
The thing I love about an off the shoulder top is that you can dress it up or down for any occasion. Obviously, on those days when I’m reading whimsically in the bluebell forest, I like to pair mine with my trusty J.Brand Selena raw hem jeans, these cute Joshua Sanderson flats and a smattering of J.Crew bangles.

This season there are also a few new reincarnations of the trend to look out for. Whereas last year we saw summer fresh pinstripes and primary colours being popular, this time around check out anything gingham, polka dot, ruffled or frilled. If you can snag something with mahoosive voluminous sleeves that’s a plus, ditto for tops with super thin shoulder straps which kick it into the ‘cold-shoulder’ trend.
