Pastel blazer … what’s the scoop?
I’ve been finding myself a bit partial to anything pastel so far this spring season, so when I spotted this J.Crew pastel blazer, I figured it would be my go to piece for smartening up an everyday look. With a bunch of birthdays and associated celebratory lunches on my horizon, it might well be levelling it’s cost-per-wear equation sooner rather than later.
I’ve never been a full on suit kinda gal, but show me a pastel blazer and I will show you how often I can work it into even the most ridiculous outfit scenario. Heading on a flight and tinkering with the notion that an upgrade might be quite nice? Throw on a blazer over your jeans and you’ve upped the anti. Wondering what to wear to your girlfriend’s afternoon tea at The Ritz? Grab that trusty blazer and the doorman will be swooshing those doors open with a bow.
The pastel blazer is definitely a spring smartener wherever you might end up sporting it. I paired mine with AG cropped jeans and a J.Crew vintage tee. The belt is also J.Crew, the bag is Whistles and pointy flats are Boden.
This J.Crew pastel blazer was sold out online in the UK, but during my recent trip to New York I found it in store… similar Moschino cheap & chic one here. The statement necklace is from Bauble Bar. The scarf is Calypso St Barth, similar here.
