Rae Feather SS18 – summer staples to love.

The other week I popped into a press breakfast with the fab Rae Feather in Belgravia’s uber cool Hari hotel. If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you will have gathered that I’m a long-term fan of her baskets and this season she’s adding resort wear to her collection. Her USP is monogramming but her new season resort wear is anything but. It’s got a chic boho vibe about it which has you wishing you were waltzing down to breakfast in Marrakech as soon as you set your peepers on it.

In her new collection, there are plenty of nautical hues in the form of bandeau dresses, kaftans, and sarongs made from super lightweight cheesecloth or 100% cotton, as well as crisp white cover-ups with clever detailing to make them stand out from the crowd.

I totally fell for this silver sequin jacket… it’s definitely on my wishlist for the Hamptons this year.

Last season’s pretty print cover-ups have also made a well deserved come back in new colourways and styles. Whilst hats are also back with a boom for those sun-filled vacay days.

To celebrate the press launch, Rae had created some special Hari accessories.

When it comes to accessories her monogrammed basket and slides collection is something to behold – here’s my current basket doing valuable vacay duty on my recent Jamaica jaunt. But it’s not all about the monogramming (however ideal that may be as a gifting idea). This season there are pom poms, fringing and stripes adorning her collection which give it a zesty summer vibe, perfect for tootling around town or heading to the beach.
