There was something for everyone at the Roger Vivier Fall/Winter 13 shoe presentation this week.
From classics like the comma heel pump;
A modern mash up of houndstooth meets Prince of Wales check, brought to you in the medium of ponyskin; what’s not to love about that? It looks pretty good from just a photo but up close and personal is divine to touch.
The Roger Vivier of old prided himself on a quirky sense of fun, and his spirit lives on through creative director Bruno Frisoni. Check out the blusher brush tassles on this gorgeous velvet clutch with coordinating slippers. Add a pair of black capri pants, a nautical tee and navy blazer and you’ll have your own Audrey Hepburn moment nailed.
And the fun doesn’t stop there. You can work some modern camouflage…
Lambswool booties and bag…
And of course the ubiquitous bling booties, whcih no label can live without these days…
I also loved the jewel tones of this clutch paired with the jewel embellishment of the slippers…
But my all out fave was this pair of satin heels which had Christmas party written all over them…
