The Ruffian show boasted Mr Joe Zee, Robert Verdi and Ken Downing in it’s FROW and the chatter in the audience was all about ‘the next big thing’ from the Ruffian boys.
They gave us turn of the century Bowery, and cited Luc Sante’s Low Life meets Sir Arthur Conan Doyle as their vibe.
I loved the peplum details, the Victorian bling and the metallic boucle coats.
