Rupert Sanderson AW15… shoe heaven

There’s always something divine about viewing a designer’s collection in a press preview prior to the season the pieces are about to hit stores… but when you get the chance to peek at a Rupert Sanderson shoe collection… then that’s extra delightful. Apart from the fact that you have to get your head around the concept that you are viewing AW15 pieces in the early spring…obviously a little unpredictable Brit weather always helps, so on this rainy old London day, we thought it was the perfect time to give you a taste of what’s to come next season, as well as a few pointers on shoe trends you should be looking out for.

As a stylist, it’s uber useful getting a heads up on what styles. textures, fabrics, designs and even heel heights designers have in mind for the upcoming season. Luxe detailing is a big AW15 style note across the board –  for shoes think embellishment, rich textured fabrics and metallic notes.

Also, flats are still a winner, but this season look for buckle details.
