I love discovering designers who haven’t been on my radar before, but when you find two for the price of one you’ve hit pay dirt.
Yesterday at the Spring London press day I couldn’t take my peepers off the awesome Jerome C. Rousseau heels. The standout piece was this bejeweled baby which he deisgned in collaboration with fellow LA based creative Emily J. Snyder.
Apparently it took Emily over 80 hours to bead, and it really is a work of art.
Rousseau has been winning fans on and off the red carpet since his move to L.A. after working in London with the likes of Matthew Williamson and Jasper Conran. To catch his collection visit Shopbop.com.
Whilst Emily J. Snyder, who hails from Minnesota, but worked first in New York as a calligrapher until finding her calling in L.A. in all things beading, is set to make splash in the accessories world.
