Spring colours to snap up

The colour trend gurus have spoken and decreed that the coolest spring colours we all need to be stocking up on are rose quartz and serenity… which as it happens are a couple of my fave colours anyway – huzzah! Not that I spend my days living in a pastel haze, but these two colours work pretty well with anything from family life and the old school run uniform (roll neck sweater & jeans anyone), right the way through to workwear, weekend wear and serious event dressing.

A touch of pastel compliments a pile of outfit choices, and judging by the new trends on their way for SS16 (watch out for our trend report coming soon) it’s one of the less ‘in your face’ trends to road test for the season ahead both in fashion and in the home.

As we enter the last few days of the sales, it might be the perfect time to gird your loins once more for a foray into your fave store to pick up a few pieces in these on-trend hues. I know Matches Fashion for one is down to 70% off on its fab sale for the next day or so… Whilst Harrods are running one of their lovely Rewards Weekends – simply sign up to their Rewards programme and receive an additional 10% off certain brands – what’s not to love about that?
