Summer clutch edit.
With the onset of warmer weather and vacations winking at us in the not too distant, one of my favourite new season buys has got to be the summer clutch. If like me, you spend all year toting around enormous bags chock full of ‘women’s things’ that you would only ever need in the event of a blitz, then summer is the perfect time to have a little downsize moment.

I think the essence of a summer clutch is that it has to be fun, possibly frivolous and totally impractical at best. If you can hop onto a SS17 trend whilst you’re about it… think stripes, embellished, raffia/straw, metallic or a bright pop of colour… then you will stay ahead of the fash pack. If you’re heading to sunnier climes all you need in a clutch is space to pop your phone, some cash and a lippy and the rest is all about the fiesta, so step out of your comfort zone and check out some of the amazing pieces available this season.
You could also opt for one of the mini-bag pieces which are out there which would work equally well as a summer clutch. The Prada one below has a cross body chain which can be tucked away allowing you to use it as a clutch.
