Yikes – is it already time to think about fall trends even though the sun is still slighty shining? Well, with all the cool fall looks flooding into the stores it seems it might be time to ditch those denim shorts and start thinking seriously about your autumn closet.
This time around there’s the usual smattering of fur and velvet, brocade and plaid, but the items I’m most looking forward to are the array of camo patterned pieces that are headed our way.
Yep, it seems this fall whether it’s a shoe, a bag or a garment, it comes in everything including camo! And the one place which has it’s eye on a trend more than any in London is Browns, Joan Burstein’s uber chic boutique in South Molton Street which manages to edit the season’s best pieces each year.
My stand out fave is this Christopher Kane look, complete with belt & buckle details which I spotted at their press day…double trend score!
Clearly the cut-out detail dress is for those of us under the 30 year old muffin-top waistline trauma, all those 30+ make a formal queue to the right for the cute figure forgiving jacket. Or for a more demure office appropriate version try this Topshop one.
But I’m also not averse to a little camo on biker jacket…
Or an MSGM rabbit fur coat….
Or even this winter staple camo style parka by Mr & Mrs Furs – yes please!
If all this is a little above your price range – opt for an accessory like these cool Prism shades to nail the trend.
For more purse friendly items check out these Karen Millen camo pants, or everyone’s fave onesie.
