Warehouse Fashion Shooter Festival
As part of the fab Warehouse Fashion Shooters initiative, in which 25 budding photographers were picked to shoot the final shot of the Warehouse SS14 campaign (under the watchful mentoring eye of Helena Christensen), last Sunday saw the Warehouse Fashion Shooters Festival in London’s busy Spittalfields. I popped a previous post up last weekend directly after the event – but here’s the full on skinny on what went down.
After a full on day personal shopping with a client for a wedding gown, in some seriously grown up high end designer boutiques, it was fun to pop into this event and catch the end of what had been an awesomely buzzy day.
In London’s already busy Brick Lane, The Loading Bay Galleries played host to a heap of fun activities which festival goers could take part in. From having your hair tweaked at the Fashion Fix booth by Toni & Guy styling experts, offering Bardot beehives and textured rope braids on their fix list …
To nail art courtesy of WAH nails…
There was the chance to make a Flickbook, where all you had to bring to the party were your party moves….
You could peek at the inspiring mood boards from students at the University for the Creative Arts. I for one got some genius Instagram inspiration from these.
There was the chance to make like a model….
There was also the chance to test out your designer skills with this fun ‘design your own tee’ lab by YR Store, a pop-up project happening in London this spring.
And it wasn’t just us girls who were into the creative thing…
There was food to die for from The Wandering Chef...
And just when you thought you couldn’t have any more fun, Whinnie Williams kicked up the music a notch or two from her DJ booth, and the Warehouse team swung by with much needed refreshments…
A great event – congrats to the Warehouse Fashion Shooters Festival team, and to those lucky winners of the Warehouse Fashion Shooters competition.
