There are so many fun textures being thrown together in unexpected pairings this season that it would be churlish not to have a stab at pulling a mixed textured look off.
With a keen eye and a little savvy shopping you don’t have to be breaking the bank to find luxe fabrics when faux versions are all over the high street.
Take these coated croc-print leggings from Karen Millen for example. Perfect for a weekend saunter round the shops followed by a relaxed lunch with your buddies. They have super full on stretch recovery sciencey stuff in them, which means you can pork out on said lunch and still feel comfy as your girth expands.
And whilst I’m happy to condone the wearing of black, it’s always a great idea to break it up a little by choosing items with a subtle texture nuance to diminish the harsh hue which reflects off it. Try stripes on a sweater or throw on a tweed mix jacket to lighten the effect.
