What with fashion weeks upon us and all, I suddenly got round to trying to be sensible about this season’s outfit choices for schlepping around the shows.
It’s all very well trying to swan around in killer heels and pretend like you are enjoying it, but seriously? My first aid plaster/band-aid bill sky rocketed so much last season that I could have actually hired a small army of oompaloompas to carry me around on a sedan chair for half the price. Clearly it’s too late to start interviewing for that position, so it’ll be a quick nip to the shops to track down some pointy flats for me instead.
What’s great about this season’s offerings of the little beasties is that, once you’ve acknowledged that toe cleavage is an acceptable, nay glamorous look, there’s so much to choose from.
