Winter florals …what’s the scoop?
Winter florals are a tad earthier than the bright and in-your-face florals we see during the summer season. That said, there are some out there which can inject a pop of much needed colour during the transition period between seasons, and are ready to perk up your dull old winter closet at the drop of a hat.
Thanks to the onset of all things luxe this winter; think brocade, jacquard and silks – there are a bunch of winter florals which come with the added joy of some delicious lustre. These are the ideal pieces to pair with dark neutrals for a ‘this season’ spin on all things botanical.
I bought this cute 60’s style jacquard floral top from Jaeger before Christmas, and it has definitely been a wardrobe workhorse over the past month. I’ve also been working this oversized Whistles ponyskin clutch to death and I don’t see it getting any respite anytime soon… similar here.
