Rae Feather Pop-Up Shop Elizabeth Street.
If you haven’t spotted it by now, I’m a bit of a fan of a summer straw basket. So when I spotted that the lovely Rae Feather pop-up shop had opened in Belgravia’s gorgeous Elizabeth Street this week, I hot-footed it up there to take some snaps.
I snared a monogram basket last summer and this time around had already fallen for a cute bumble bee one which you can see in this post here. But the trouble is there are sooo many cute bags to choose from it’s easy to fall in love with more. For example… might I need a more sturdy canvas tote for some upcoming meetings in town?
Or does my summer clutch situation need a bit of a refresh…?
And that’s before we’ve even started talking about my current pom-pom fetish…
While I was there, I met the lovely Rae who talked me through the new collection which is expanding into resort wear accessories with these super flattering beach coverups, as well as hats and slides. Rae has done a ton of travelling recently which has also led to the inspiration for future collections, and if these pieces are anything to go by, I for one am certainly interested in seeing where her creative design nous leads.
Prices are super purse friendly, and the bags are definitely sturdy enough to handle a season of action as a carry-on if you’re travelling soon.
During Thursdays to Saturdays, there will also be an in-store painter to monogram initials on your purchases which is such a genius idea for gifting (note to self as daughter Millie turns 18 in a couple of weeks…). So if you’re in the neighbourhood, I’d highly recommend a peek inside, if nothing else it will have you dreaming of summer vacations before you exit the shop.
P.S. Our Shopping Guide to Elizabeth Street is nearly ready to share which includes lots of other delightful stores in this neighbourhood.
