The Best Beaded Bags To Buy This Spring.

The thing I love about a new season accessory trend is that you can jump right into it without breaking the bank. This upcoming season beaded bags are set to rock our world on the arm candy front, and I for one am all for it. If you pop ‘beaded bags’ into a Pinterest search (oh yes, I’m still totally besotted with falling down a Pinterest rabbit hole), my favourite visual search engine comes up with all sorts of beaded cuties. From crafty wooden numbers through to vintage-inspired delicately beaded bags and all the way to high-end designer loveliness.
For me, the beaded bags which are feeling more ‘now’ for the season ahead are the ones with chunkier glass or colourful beads rather than the intricate hand beaded ones which are perhaps a little more fitting for weddings or parties. Yep, give me a multi-faceted bead any day of the week for everyday use.
I snapped this beaded bag up from & Other Stories recently and have paired it here with a Ganni knit, Massimo Dutti jeans (old but similar here) and Kurt Geiger sneakers. Be warned these bags are slightly heavier than they look so don’t go over cluttering with everything but the kitchen sink in them, lest you end up feeling like you’re toting a couple of dumbbells around.
Beaded bags… where to shop.
So trend-wise for SS19, there’s an artsy-crafty vibe coming our way – think Coachella meets LA chic, and the beaded bag could slip quite nicely into that niche should you fancy road testing it. Price wise you can opt for anything under £50 from the high street right up to the £500 for a designer version. Here are a few of my faves out there right now, click the images to shop. #AffiliateLinks Used.
