Notes From a Stylist best bits from March
I can’t believe we’ve kicked March into touch already this year! Just before we fly helter skelter into April, I thought we could take a quick peek back at the best bits from last month on the Notes From a Stylist blog.
First up we published our spring style report with top tips on which trends to be looking out for this season. If you didn’t get round to signing up for the report, hop on over to our front page here and fill out the subscription form, to get one in your inbox.
We had plenty of fashion to talk about in March – what with a review of Sophia Webster’s awesomely cool AW15 collection, some outfit edits on gingham shirts, leather coats and some cross body bag inspo… there was definitely enough to get your spring wardrobe started.
We road tested trends including trench coats, spring pastels and blue hues…always with the aid of a pointy flat of course…
In the Mod Fam Food kitchen Amanda brought us spring lamb, an amazing Mother’s Day menu (which I’m using this Easter weekend for our family gathering BTW… spoiler alert Amanda) as well as a yum Apple & Vanilla tart.
We had fun out and about rediscovering Portobello Road Market. As well as going behind the scenes at the very cool Fun Cushions design studio and learning how to tie a hand-tied bouquet at the divine Kingfisher Farm Flower Shop.
For the month ahead we’re working on some spring shopping guides from some of our favourite spots around London, along with the usual fashion, food and lifestyle stuff, so check back in from tomorrow.
Happy Easter!
